Getting Started
All forms must be completed before the initial visit; two are for you, and one is for your Vet.
The veterinary release form is mandatory for all clients, as it allows us to confirm that there are no contraindications to hydrotherapy (conditions for which swimming may not be appropriate).
The most effective therapy is carefully planned and well-informed, and this process supports open communication between the Hydrotherapist and your Veterinarian to achieve the best possible outcomes for your pet. Once we receive the Veterinary Release, we will text you the location, instructions, and online booking link so you can book the sessions that work best for you.
Please note: Each session is a maximum of 30 minutes in the water, but with a booked time allocation of 60 minutes. This allows for a pre-swim interview, a life jacket fitting, and a post-swim rinse and dry.

Upon Arrival at Frisky Pup
Please feel free to park on the street behind the vehicle with the K9HYDRO plates, or in the driveway if there is a space.
Arrive a bit early, so your dog has adequate time to relieve themself before swimming; bags are available if needed. Outside, please ensure your dog is on a leash.
If another dog is leaving, please wait to enter until they are in their vehicles or out of range of an encounter.
You enter the facility through the door on the left of the garage. It can be difficult to open during the colder months.
When leaving, watch for the possibility of other dogs arriving – if someone is waiting at the door, ask for assistance
Around the Pool
Towels are provided, but please feel free to bring additional towels for outside or in your vehicle; a high-power blow dryer is also available.
It is a wet area (mainly after the swim), you may want to wear shoes that are fine with getting wet.
We use positive reinforcement through praise and treats, and also use treats as motivation and to encourage a friendly bond with the Hydrotherapist. How we treat during a session is generally different from how we treat at home.
If your dog has a favourite treat or toy, if they are not food motivated, please feel free to bring those to your session.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of our business and limited availability, as your swim session times are reserved for you, short notice cancellations (less than 24 hours) will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any unnecessary fees and to allow the time to be allocated to another dog in need of therapy.
Thank you.
